Starlink Deal: Standard Kit + Extra Gen 3 Router for $235 at Sam’s Club

A new deal spotted at Sam’s Club offers one of the best values yet for Starlink hardware. Reddit user /u/iambobwood shared images showing the Starlink Standard Kit bundled with an extra Gen 3 wireless router at the membership-only warehouse retail chain for just $235.
The Starlink Standard Kit already comes with one Gen 3 router, but the second router in this bundle can be set up in mesh mode to extend coverage across larger homes. That makes it an attractive option for anyone looking to eliminate Wi-Fi dead zones while getting Starlink hardware at a discount.
The Gen 3 router originally launched for $249 before SpaceX slashed the price to $199. These days, it’s not even widely available for purchase on its own — SpaceX has instead been pushing its $40 Router Mini as the go-to extender.
On the rare occasions it is available, the Gen 3 router has sold for as low as $120. Even at that price, the Sam’s Club bundle is hard to beat. With Starlink currently discounting the Standard Kit to $175 (50% off) across the U.S., this Sam’s Club offer essentially gives buyers a second Gen 3 router for just $60 more.
While the Router Mini provides a budget-friendly way to expand coverage, the Gen 3 router offers superior range and throughput, making this deal even more compelling. That said, the $235 price tag doesn’t include the monthly Starlink subscription, which must be purchased separately.
SpaceX is also offering new customer discounts on its Residential and Residential Lite plans in states with excess capacity, available for the first year of service. However, be sure to check online to ensure your area isn’t subject to any unexpected “congestion” fees before buying the hardware.
For those considering Starlink, this Sam’s Club bundle may be one of the best ways to get started with extra hardware at a fraction of the usual cost.
