Tesla Shows Off Automatic Robo Vacuum for Robotaxi Network
Tesla has demonstrated a robotic vacuum that appears to be a concept for cleaning up dirty Robotaxis.
In a short video titled, “this robot sucks”, we see a robot vacuum cleaning up a dirty Robotaxi that’s filled with crumbs, extra water bottles and even a forgotten backpack.
“I wake, I clean, I live. They leave gifts for me, so kind,” explains the narration. “They feed me like a king. But I don’t do it for accolades. My work is my sustenance. Soaking up every last crumb and every last crevice. Potato chips. Like our own little game of hide-and-seek. Ah, found you.”

The robot vacuum cleaner can switch attachments by itself, while also put up the center armrest. Just imagine a fleet of Tesla’s Robotaxis getting cleaned at scale, automatically.
“It’s a simple life, but as the sun is to a flower, vital. Until next time, my old friend,” ends the video.
The vacuum cleaner almost reminds us of Tesla’s ‘snake’ concept charger for plugging in a charger. But we know the future will include wireless charging for Robotaxi.
Tesla said during its Q4 earnings call this week it plans to launch its Robotaxi service in Austin this June.
