Tesla has raised the prices of its Model S and Model X vehicles in North America, a change made late Thursday (via @Tslachan).
Model S/X Price Increases in the US:
- Model S: Increased by $2,000 to $89,990 USD
- Model X: Increased by $2,000 to $94,990 USD
The last time we saw the Model S/X get a price change was back in April of this year, when prices dropped by $2,000. Now that discount is gone. A price increase could suggest increased demand for the Model S and Model X.

The Model S and Model X also saw price hikes in Canada as well (CAD pricing below).
- Model S All-Wheel Drive (AWD): Increased by $6,000 to $103,990
- Model S Plaid: Increased by $2,000 to $124,990
- Model X AWD: Increased by $3,000 to $110,990
- Model X Plaid: Increased by $3,000 to $131,990
Again, back on April 23, the Model S and Model X in Canada saw a $2,000 price drop. That discount is now gone.
Tesla’s Q2 2024 saw roughly 10,000 deliveries of its Model S and Model X, trending downwards. It’s clear the Model 3 and Model Y are the high-volume sellers for Tesla, as they qualify for tax credits and rebates.
