Tesla Cyberquad for Kids Returns to the US–with Changes
Tesla’s Cyberquad for Kids, an all-electric, four-wheel ride-on toy, is making a comeback with the new Model 915, after being removed last year.
Inspired by the futuristic design of the Tesla Cybertruck, this ride-on toy is specifically crafted for young adventurers aged 9 to 12 years old. Priced at $1,900 USD, the Cyberquad for Kids boasts a robust steel frame, a comfortable cushioned seat, rear disk braking, and LED light bars.
The ride-on toy is powered by a 36V lithium-ion battery, providing up to 15 miles of range. It features a 500W motor, allowing a maximum speed of 10 mph, with a high/low-speed switch for speed regulation between 10 mph and 5 mph. For safe storage, a Cyberquad for Kids Cover is also available.
Key features of the Model 915 include a new age range specification, tire pressure warning labels compliant with ANSI Z535 standards, and revised product warning labels to emphasize its use as a youth ride-on toy. The seat support spring has been removed in this latest model, making it more of a toy, and not an ATV.
Orders for the Cyberquad for Kids Model 915 will begin shipping in late November 2023.
Tesla says this product meets U.S. Consumer Product Safety Standards and is certified under ASTM F963 as an electric ride-on toy. It is important to note that the Cyberquad for Kids is not approved or intended for use as a youth ATV, as clearly stated in the product’s revised warnings.
Last month Tesla launched Cyberquad for Kids in Europe, and now it’s back in the U.S. The debut comes ahead of Tesla’s Cybertruck delivery event slated for November 30.
