Tesla Model 3, Model Y Winter Tire Packages: What to Buy?

Tesloid is offering specialized winter tire packages for Tesla Model 3 and Model Y vehicles, aimed at enhancing driving safety and performance in winter conditions.

For Tesla Model Y owners, the package is priced at $3,149.99 CAD or $2,349.99 USD. It includes four Michelin X-Ice Snow Tires mounted on 19-inch Gemini OEM rims, along with four Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensors (TPMS). This package is compatible with all Model Y variants, except the Performance Model with 21-inch rims.

The Model 3 package, on the other hand, is priced at $2,449.99 CAD or $1,849.99 USD. It features four Pirelli Sottozero 3 Tires mounted on 18-inch Aero OEM rims and also includes four TPMS. This package is suitable for all Model 3 variants, except the Performance Model with 20-inch rims.

Technical specifications for the Model 3 package indicate a rim size of 18×8.5 (+45) with a bolt pattern of 5×114.3, and a tire size of 235/45/R18.

For the Model Y package, the rim size is 19×9.5 (+45), the bolt pattern is 5×114.3, and the tire size is 255/45/R19.

Michelin is also offering a $100 mail-in rebate for purchases made between October 5 and December 20, 2023, from select partners. Customers must contact Tesloid to request a special invoice required for the Michelin rebate claim.

Both packages come pre-mounted and balanced, ready for installation by any auto shop. Centre caps and lug nuts are not included in the packages. The tires come with manufacturing warranties, while the rims and TPMS are covered by limited warranties.
