Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) beta currently is in version 11.4.4 and is being widely tested by owners.
According to Tesla CEO Elon Musk, when FSD reaches version 12.0—it will no longer be in beta.
Musk replied to @WholeMarsBlog earlier this week to say, “version 12 won’t be beta”.

Now, it’s unclear when Tesla FSD beta will reach version 12. At the start of 2023, FSD beta was still at version 10.69.25.2, and then in mid-February we saw version 11.3 release. Version 11.4 first debuted in mid-April with point releases following suit up until version 11.4.4 released earlier this month.
Looking back at 2022, Tesla started off FSD beta version 10.8.1 in January, followed by version 10.9 later that month. Version 10.69 lasted from August to December, before version 11.2 was released on Christmas Day.
Could we see FSD beta version 12 emerge by the end of 2023 and exit the beta stage? It remains to be seen if FSD will be ready to exit beta by then, but the self-driving software continues to evolve, learn and improve at a rapid pace according to testers on YouTube.
