A new Tesla showroom and service center is set to debut in Conejo Valley, in Thousand Oaks, California.

Tesla is set to open a new showroom in Newbury Park, Thousand Oaks by 2024 after the Thousand Oaks Planning Commission granted a special use permit for the company on Monday. The permit allows the company to use a 50,000 square foot industrial space as a car showroom and service center, reports VC Star.

The location will be at 2000 Corporate Center Drive and will be the third Tesla dealership in Ventura County, following Agoura Hills and Camarillo. The showroom will allow customers to test drive Tesla vehicles and make orders, while the service center will operate indoors without the need for oil or other hazardous materials.

Assistant Planner Tabitha McAtee noted that the permit imposes certain conditions for the project, such as not allowing auto body or painting work to be done on-site. The goal of the project is to increase Tesla ownership in the surrounding area.

During the commission meeting, Tesla representative Diana Tran revealed that the chosen location for the new Thousand Oaks dealership was aimed at expanding the company’s reach in Ventura County. Tran highlighted that the two nearest Tesla dealerships are in Camarillo and Agoura Hills, and that the company’s objective was to boost Tesla ownership in the area.
