Tesla CEO Elon Musk continues to capture headlines this week. In a recent move to back up some claims made on Twitter, Elon has listed two of his homes for sale. The decision follows Musk’s tweet on May 1st that read, “I am selling almost all physical possessions. Will own no house.” The physical listing of the homes, as verified by popular real estate website Zillow, confirm what many thought to be mere gesturing.

Both homes are located in Bel Air, California. One listing, the larger of the two, carries a hefty $30 million USD price tag. According to sources at CNN Business, the home has “seven bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, a two-story library, theater, pool, tennis court, fruit orchard and other features.” The second home, mentioned in another of Elon’s tweets, is a bit smaller and less pricey. The home, owned by actor Gene Wilder, was listed at $9.5 million USD on Monday.

Elon Musk cited an commitment to Mars and Earth as the reason for wanting to get rid of his physical possessions. In a tweet last week the Tesla CEO said, “Don’t need the cash. Devoting myself to Mars and Earth. Possession just weigh you down.” With the listing of the two homes, Musk is certainly backing up his claims.
